Job Description
The Import-Export Specialist at BeeVision will play a critical role in ensuring that all import and export operations run smoothly, stay on schedule, and fully comply with legal regulations. Specific responsibilities include:
Customs Procedures and Documentation
- Handle the entire electronic customs declaration process for all export and import shipments.
- Prepare, review, and manage all import-export documentation, including: Sales Contracts, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin (C/O), Bills of Lading (B/L), and other related documents.
- Register, manage, and settle processing contracts with customs authorities in accordance with current regulations.
- Monitor and stay up to date on changes in import-export tax policies, customs regulations, and relevant Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
Order Management and Logistics
- Plan import and export schedules based on business needs, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Coordinate closely with the logistics department, warehouse operations, freight forwarders, and relevant parties at ports to ensure goods are transported safely and on time.
- Track the entire shipment journey from warehouse dispatch to final delivery, promptly resolving any issues that arise.
- Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs for the company.
Partner Development and Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers and trade partners.
- Assist in negotiating contract terms, pricing, and delivery conditions (Incoterms) with overseas partners.
- Conduct market research and propose new sourcing opportunities aligned with BeeVision’s business strategy.
Reporting and Internal Coordination
- Provide regular reports on import-export activities and order progress to management.
- Collaborate with relevant departments such as accounting, sales, and warehouse operations to ensure seamless workflows.
- Maintain organized and systematic records of all import-export documents, readily available for audits when needed.
Candidate Requirements
Education and Experience
- College degree or higher in Foreign Trade, International Economics, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an import-export specialist or equivalent role at trading, manufacturing, or logistics companies.
- Strong knowledge of foreign trade procedures, customs processes, and international delivery terms (Incoterms 2020).
- Familiar with international payment methods: letters of credit (L/C), telegraphic transfer (T/T), and documentary collection (D/P, D/A).
