In-Sight D900 is a smart camera supported by the In-Sight ViDi software, designed to run deep learning applications. The In-Sight ViDi applications are deployed on the In-Sight D900 smart cameras without requiring a PC, enabling non-programmers to access Deep Learning technology. The In-Sight ViDi Read tool operates in real-time, significantly reducing development time due to the pre-trained Deep Learning font library. Simply define the read area and set the character size. For situations where new characters need to be read, this powerful tool can be retrained to read characters that traditional OCR tools struggle with.
Quick and Accurate Detection of Assembly Details
In-Sight D900 uses artificial intelligence to accurately detect complex details and objects, while verifying if the parts and details are correctly assembled based on their position in the drawing or a reference product. The In-Sight ViDi Check tool can be trained to create a library of details and objects placed within the camera’s view even when they appear at different positions, angles, or sizes.

In-Sight ViDi Detect Tool is an image-based product, device, and detail inspection tool to identify defective products, devices, and details. ViDi Detect is ideal for finding unusual points on complex parts and surfaces, even in unpredictable cases of foreign objects or defects.

In-Sight ViDi leverages the intuitive Spreadsheet interface to quickly set up and run deep learning applications without programming. The In-Sight Spreadsheet simplifies application development and rationalizes factory integration with full I/O and communication capabilities. It also enables the combination of traditional Cognex Vision Tools (such as PatMax Redline) and Deep Learning Tools in the same project, facilitating faster deployment and reduced processing time. Since In-Sight ViDi requires much fewer images, has a short training period, and processes faster, deep learning applications are both high-speed and easier to set up.
