Cognex launches DataMan 80 barcode reader

The DataMan 80 barcode reader is the latest addition to Cognex’s fixed-mount barcode portfolio, offering powerful and flexible integrated illumination in a super compact design with one-cable setup. Available DM80 samples include 6.2mm and 16mm liquid lens models targeting automatic factory labeling reading and hands-free reading in logistics.

The DataMan 80 reader offers options for PoE or USB power and communication, allowing for quick and easy setup. With customizable built-in lighting options and Cognex’s modern decoding algorithms, DM80 is the most powerful ultra-compact reader on the market.
