Robot guidance system includes one or more robots equipped with one or more cameras functioning as sensors providing secondary feedback signals to the robot control unit. Cameras and software (machine vision system) will determine the random positions of products on the conveyor belt. The machine vision system will provide accurate product positions allocated randomly within the camera’s working area to the robot. Information from the cameras will help the robotic arm move to the exact position of the object and allow picking up the object from the conveyor.
Computer vision technology shows clear effectiveness in the raw material production and automatic assembly industries. Our solutions are applicable in various scenarios such as picking objects at random positions, statistical organization and management, motion detection, tracking and controlling parts moving along paths, and automating control and assembly processes.
Robot guidance systems provide more precise movement to predefined positions. Robots adapt better and are easier to deploy while being cheaper and simplifying hardware. Typically, when a design requires new mechanisms and installation takes a long time, with machine vision technology, you no longer need expensive equipment to change the product model in the production line. Our solution allows robots to pick up products with the shortest processing wait time.
